Start at the river desk.
These shortcuts organize planning sources. They do not decide whether anyone should paddle.- River levelsOhio river levels
Open the club’s Ohio gauge directory for official USGS stations and nearby rainfall and forecast references.
Planning note: A gauge reading is one input, not permission or a recommendation to paddle; confirm current weather, access, hazards, and crew readiness.
Open Ohio river levels - River levelsWV, MD & PA river levels
Open the regional directory for official gauges and planning references on common West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania rivers.
Planning note: A gauge reading does not account for weather, wood, access, rapid changes, or the group’s skills and equipment; make a separate safe decision.
Open WV, MD & PA river levels - Official sourceOfficial USGS source directory
Open the watershed-grouped station registry used to reach official USGS source pages.
Planning note: Station data reports measured conditions only; it does not describe the run, access, wood, weather, or whether a trip is suitable.
Open Official USGS source directory - MapsRiver maps
Open the curated river-map library for access, route, park, and guide references.
Planning note: A map does not confirm current access, hazards, water level, or route suitability; verify current official information and local knowledge.

Estimates and release directories
Check the source before the plan.
These entries organize club planning tools and schedule sources. No row is a live result or a recommendation to paddle.- Club estimateUpper Yough planner
Open the club planning entry for Friendsville flow, Deep Creek release timing, and related Upper Yough source checks.
Planning note: This club estimate is not an official forecast or a go signal; confirm current USGS and SafeWaters information, source timestamps, river conditions, and group readiness.
Review Upper Yough planner sources - Club estimateNew River forecast
Open the club’s New River Gorge estimate entry and its official gauge and agency-source breakdown.
Planning note: This club estimate can be wrong when inputs, timing, units, or source services change; verify the official sources and make a separate safe decision.
Review New River forecast sources - Club estimateCheat forecast
Open the club’s Cheat planning estimate and its official Parsons and Albright source references.
